Frederick Luther Fane, MC (27th April 1875 – 27th November 1960) played cricket for Essex, Oxford University, London County and England. Representing his country in 14 Test matches between 1906 and 1910 including 5 as captain. He was the first Irish-born player to score a century in a test match for England.
