from the year of 1877.

 It is  from

PRUDHOMME & BRIGGS plus BRIGGS, PAYNE & COMPANY  

in

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA.

They were  located at 87 and 89 Magazine Street.

The letter is signed as: Briggs & Payne Company in Liquidation

CONDITION:  It has normal letter folds, some staining but, in good condition.    The little "EBAY ITEM" thing is just a loose piece of paper that is not attached to the letterhead. This item is sold AS IS.

The approximate size of this letterhead is  8 1/2" X 5 1/2".
