This is a rare 1930s vintage AOFB ASSOCIATED ORDER OF FROTH BLOWERS silver&powder blue guilloche enamel with engine turned pattern pill box with mirror.It is manufactured by Turner&Simpson and it has a Birmingham silver hallmark for 1938 and it is in a very good condition with no damage to the enamel and just one tiny dent on the bottom edge and the boxes overall measurements are 4.2cm in diameter x 1.4cm deep and weighs in at 30.4grams.(p.s.this is an item that this Society would have sold in the 1930s to their lady members and might even have been especially commissioned for the wife of a long standing member of this association and is not an item I have seen in one of their earlier catalogues or on the open market as I know they sold cufflink and cigarette boxes etc).
