Obverse retains signs of gilding or gold plating (untested)This will be rare - issued to the 4th Royal Fusiliers who did not serve as a unit , but sent a detachment of Mounted Infantry to South Africa. They served with elements from the KOYLI and Rifle Brigade as part of the 20th Mounted Company .
