A large inkwell, likely late Victorian, brass domed lid with signs of moderate indentation, hinge sound, opens and closes as it should, no chips or nibbles to the beautiful swirled glass, heavy item at over 1.5kg.  Total height is around 12cm, the main body being 9cm and 6.5cm high, very classy item.
