Satyuga Inc. produced unique, globally-inspired clothing throughout the 1970s and 1980s. While the brand was based in Hawaii, they heavily relied on Indonesian craftsmanship. The label proudly features the famous Sanskrit mantra "Om Mani Padme Hung" (the mantra of compassion), a signature detail woven into many of their garments reflecting the spiritual, counter-culture aesthetics of the era.

The care tag specifies “Handwoven Fiber." Clothing from this line is often made of high-quality natural textiles like rayon, cotton, or blended slub silks. The gold pinstripe metallic threads woven into the navy base fabric are characteristic of traditional Indonesian Songket or Lurex-accented ikat.
