This is a hard to find vintage Breitling Chronomat which dates to the late 60's to early 70's.

From online research, this model used various dial and hand configurations, especially on earlier models.

The watch has a very large 47mm case with left handed crown. According to online sources, this was to advertise the fact that due to its automatic movement, it rarely needed winding. The case is in untouched original condition, showing signs of its age. The breitling name is partially visible on the screw down case back.

The dial, which is very similar to the famous Breitling Navitimer 806 has a lovely overall patina. The outer bezel moves the inner slide rule through a cog system on the right hand side where traditionally you would have the crown. The watch has its original crystal. The condition matches its age.

The micro automatic movement was serviced by its previous owner and is keeping excellent time with all functions working correctly.

The watch has been fitted with a brand new Geckota leather strap and comes in a Breitling case.

Strap styles are a very personal thing, therefor other options may be available. Please enquire. Case knife not included.

All watches come with a 2 month mechanically warranty (excluding accidental damage) and an authenticity document.

Please also be aware that due to the age of these watches they cannot be guaranteed as waterproof and must be treated accordingly.
