2003 Bowman Metallic Gold Red (Veterans) - Partial Set Break!

This listing is for a single from a very interesting set - one that was not believed to ever exist: until now! In 2003 Bowman released the Metallic Gold cards in uncirculated form, but it involved a redemption card, entering codes on thepit.com and fulfillment from a warehouse. This was only for the rookie (blue) series - and with so many steps and a lackluster 2003 Rookie crop - suffice to say that interest was low. The background design is very appealing with a textured gold flecky foil to them. Super condition sensitive both with the surface and all black corners/edges. Each here is quite nice and at least Near Mint in condition. What is really fun and exciting is that a publicly released set where all the star players were thought to not exist - well now they have been proven to have at least one that does exist! At least for some players. The run I obtained only had about half the veterans in the set. I have many of the star players getting PSA graded (as PSA does recognize the set they are numerically graded) - but in a case of "If you know, you know" - while not serial numbered, for each of these reds up for sale, each is the only one known to exist. And up until now they were previously considered lost to time and unknown! A fun set and eagerly presented here as singles for your consideration. Thanks for looking. Feel free to inquire if your player was one that I have available. Approx 20 are with PSA now for grading.

This listing as for the card shown in the photo and as detailed in the title. I stock a wide variety of hard to find inserts and parallels from 1990-2000's, so feel free to check my other items or inquire if there is anything you are looking for. My listed inventory is maybe 10% of what I have in stock at any time. I also have a good chunk of my offline inventory digitized and can generate instant inventory reports for those player/set/team collectors out there. Thanks for looking.

I also PC Chipper Jones and should have around 30-40K cards in inventory with tons of rarities, game used, and autographed cards, always happy to find what I don't have and will buy/sell/trade.

Bid with confidence. I have great feedback and you will get your item in a prompt fashion. Shipping is always free so no need to worry about combining. Scans Below so you can always see exactly what you're bidding on. Any Questions? CONTACT ME!
