This original late Victorian cabinet card features a tender vignette group portrait of three young children sitting closely together in simple period attire. Dated to c. 1890s based on the heavy dark maroon mount card, vignette print processing, and late 19th-century hairstyles. The photograph displays minor surface foxing, light toning around the vignetted edges, and mild edge wear. The reverse contains the printed studio mark: "Photographed by H. PEPPEL: Photographer 2d. Avenue: HINTON, W. Va. Negative retained. Number 277."
