Victorian Style Alabaster Bust of a Young Woman – Italian Marble Dust Sculpture

A decorative late 19th to early 20th century bust depicting a young woman in Victorian dress, wearing a bonnet with detailed pleated collar.

Made from alabaster / marble dust composite, a material commonly used by Italian workshops producing decorative sculptures for export to Britain around 1890–1910.

A lovely display piece ideal for a mantel, shelf or dressing table.

Measurements:
Height: approx. 25 cm

Condition:
In good decorative condition overall, with some small chips and losses to the edges of the clothing and bonnet, consistent with age and the soft alabaster material. No major cracks or repairs.

There is a handwritten factory stock number (06890) to the base.
