Well painted original ink & watercolour by H. Long (or Lang) - frustratingly I have been unable to identify this artist, but clearly they had an accomplished hand.

Depicting a a figure walking along a woodland track towards a low roofed structure with a spade in the ground next to it. A steep fellside, with several field barns, rises above.

Signed (in tiny letters!) lower right.

Watercolour, ink and gouache on wove paper. In the original brushes aluminium over wood frame with single mount, glazed.

Painting in excellent original condition, with strong, fresh colour (see photo). Frame with some nicks and scratches, mount clean (see photos).
