Rare opportunity to have this in your Christofle collection, which will become a family heirloom!

Per the Christofle website:

"A solid Rouge or Sienna charger variant is exceptionally rare on the secondary market

The Christofle "Talisman" pattern, originally designed by Bernard Yot in 1986, is famously a custom, made-to-order in the serving collection

Christofle manufactures luxury silver-plated charger plates in historic patterns like Malmaison or Vertigo. Because the Talisman pattern uses a meticulous, 18-step manual hand-lacquering technique to create its rich colors, collectors often pair their Sienna or Rouge flatware with these solid, mirror-polished silver chargers to emphasize the contrast

Because the line is custom-crafted to order, finding specific large serving plates or rare accessories usually requires browsing elite vintage estates and specialty secondary marketplaces"

Condition:

Good vintage condition with light tarnishing and scratches, commensurate with use and age

Each item is fully Christofle hall marked

Measurements:

diameter:  12"

NOTE:

This set is the only one Christofle made with 18 layers of lacquer. Christofle stopped making this color due to the extensive labor needed with so many layers of lacquer being applied (the other colors are made with just a few layers)

The "Talisman" is rouge color.   Although "rouge" means red in French the color is more of a reddish brown color, called "Sienna" in the US
