This is a large, antique porcelain dresser jar (puff box) featuring a moody green and ochre ground with vibrant hand-painted red roses. The interior of the bowl is finished in a beautiful iridescent mother-of-pearl luster glaze. This piece was produced on a Favorita Bavaria blank and is artist-signed "M. Grose" on the lid.

I strive for extreme transparency in my listings. This antique piece shows the following signs of age:

Visible Lid Chips: There are two distinct chips/flea bites on the exterior edge of the lid rim that are visible when the jar is closed (see close-up photos).

Inner Flange: There is an additional chip on the inner seating rim of the lid, which is hidden when the lid is in place.

Surface & Body: The hand-painted florals remain vibrant. There is a small dark mark on the underside of the base. No cracks, glaze pops, or crazing noted.
