Shipping Information update (2nd May)

As of now (May 2026), Taiwan’s Chunghwa Post has suspended international airmail services to 15 countries, mainly due to the US-Iran war impacting flights.

These countries include the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Israel, Pakistan, Maldives, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Oman, Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, Greece, Egypt, and Morocco.

Suspension Reasons

Implemented from March 10, 2026, due to Middle East tensions, closed airspace in multiple countries, and insufficient air capacity, to avoid mail delays.

No set resumption date; depends on the situation.

Other Notes

No other countries have full mail bans announced recently; check Chunghwa Post website or counters for latest or use FedEx/DHL as alternatives.
