This book is fairly scarce in the 1894 hardcover edition. It lays out the position of a bimetallist approach, especially silver, to back the American currency. Harvey was an aid to Democratic Presidential candidate William Jennings Bryan who eventually lost to McKinley who promoted a gold standard approach. This is an excellent opportunity to add this scarce hardcover copy to your collection of classic monetary works.

Good condition. Publisher/Date: Coin Publishing; 1894.  This book is the hardcover edition. The text contains 50 pages with markings primarily in the margins. The binding is sound though the front and rear free endpapers are detached from the textblock. There endpapers also have some chipping along the edges. No dust jacket.  The cover is moderately worn along the edges with some chipping and small closed tears to the top and the bottom of the spine. The page edges are toned with scattered foxing. The corners are bumped. The previous owner's name is present.

We hope to have the honor of serving you.

Sincerely,

Shawn and Rebecca
