Landrover series 2a 1963, SWB. Canvas top 

A stunning and very original series 2a. This ex military vehicle has been extensively restored in an authentic and original approach and would appeal to an enthusiast. I have used this for leisure and weddings and have completed numerous chauffeur services over the years I have owned the vehicle and these have proven to be lucrative. We are reluctantly having to sale due to a change of circumstances. 

This vehicle was originally built as a radio military vehicle and has all the features associated with a military specification. The original radios and additional battery have been removed. 

The work completed 

Engine rebuild  2.25 petrol 

Original chassis and bulkhead fully restored and in very good condition. All metal work and body work in very good condition. 

Sprayed with original military cellulose paint. 

New braking system 

New radiator 

Springs wrapped

Tyre  original military specification

New doors and canvas roof 

Toast rack grill 

Rear tools mounted and complete on the tail gate. 

All floors solid in original good condition 

Breather tubes mounted on diff. 

Convoy light and dual under seat

Interior 

Front seats and head rest leather hand made. Inertia seat belts and roll bar fitted to take passengers. Leather steering wheel 

Rear black shelf seat and lap belts. 

This really is a stunning Landrover and would appeal to someone who loves this classic design. I am have been completing a number of weddings over the last few summers and is very much in demand.
