New, never used. This set is from 1978 I'd make a great gift for a botanist or a anthophiles collector. It contains 10-piece individually different pressed Montana wildflowers on cards that come with envelopes and a description card. It also contains an insert that tells you about Martha Johnston and her method on collecting.
The cards, envelopes, inserts and description cards are an excellent condition. The plastic cases holding the cards have yellowed and have cracked In a few places due to age. The glass case holding everything together is in good condition.
The cards measure approximately 5" x 4 1/2" the box is 6 1/4" x 5" and is 1 1/2" deep.
Please look at all pictures carefully. Color may vary slightly due to camera, computer monitor or light.
Martha loved Montana, the mountains and especially wildflowers. So much so that she started her own business carefully drying and pressing wildflowers into pictures; gently preserving and appreciating each flower for it’s individual beauty. The Wildflower Place provided unique and lovingly preserved mementos of Montana to many. Martha also loved to garden, an occupation that began with a Victory Garden during the war and continued her whole life.
