I do like the wonderful 'the models Dinky didn't make' series that Dave Gilbert created at his base in Staffordshire from the early 1970s.

The various models in his Bentley range are especially good, heavy metal castings which are an excellent compromise between the real vehicles and the style of pre-war Dinky models.

This one is the Bentley 4.25 litre Sedanca from the mid-1930s after the Rolls-Royce takeover. This version has the half-open hood and looks extremely fine in fawn with a maroon chassis and the Dinky radiator unit.

These have become very collectable for those who know. This one is in first class condition. You would never know it is getting on for fifty years old.
