These are vintage Palissy Royal Worcester butter dishes featuring the "Lorna Doone Farm" scene. The dishes feature a scenic transferware design of two riders on horseback crossing a shallow river in front of Lorna Doone Farm.  Made by Palissy Pottery, a company acquired by Royal Worcester Spode in 1958. These versatile dishes can be used for serving butter, jam, or as decorative trinket dishes.
