Vintage Goldpfeil Monarchy structured leather handbag crafted in West Germany from genuine brown leather. Features Goldpfeil’s classic structured silhouette with a top handle, polished silver-tone turn-lock closure, divided interior compartments, interior zip pocket, and protective metal feet.
The hardware is thicker and more understates suggesting an earlier model of this bag. In addition, the handle to attached with more substantial metal fittings instead of the thinner decorative rings.
The leather remains attractive with a nice vintage patina and plenty of life remaining. The hardware operates properly and the bag maintains its structured shape.
Please note the interior lining had begun deteriorating with age. The affected areas were professionally stabilized using heavy-duty athletic/sport gear repair patches (see photos). The repair is secure and functional and allows the bag to continue being used.
