Vintage Dreamlight Mediterana Large 8.5" Red Cased Art Glass Window Vase / Lantern

Up for sale is a beautiful, heavy vintage Dreamlight Mediterana cased art glass vase. Designed in Germany (Bad Köstritz) during the 1980s, this striking piece features a brilliant, high-gloss ruby red outer casing contrasted by a heavy internal white framing layer. Hand blown & distributed from China.

Standing at a substantial 8.5 inches tall, this is the largest and most sought-after size variant in the Mediterana lineup. It features three signature polished "cut-out windows" on the sides, offering a clean, architectural view straight through the center of the piece.

Multi-Functional Design:

Statement Flower Vase: Provides a dramatic, pop-art look for modern floral displays.

Atmospheric Candle Lantern: Drop a tealight or small candle inside. The red casing glows beautifully while casting crisp, geometric light out through the clear side portholes.

Condition Details:

Good Vintage Condition. The glass body is incredibly clean with excellent clarity and shine. There are no chips, cracks, or cloudy hard-water residue. There are two tiny flea bites that are actually from when it was created, a bubble burst and a minute piece imbedded in the top layer. The base features a professionally ground and highly polished circular pontil mark, emphasizing its artisan, mouth-blown studio craftsmanship.
