A turn signal switch for a (loosely defined) 77-78 280z.

This switch has been completely disassembled, and all parts cleaned.

0. OEM plated items replated in house

1. lever and rubber tip painted 

2. metal base plate modified

3. contacts and plastic pieces cleaned

4. hi lo beam switch disassembled, cleaned, repaired and verified as functional.  

NOTE; 77-78 280z turn signal switches are different from other s30 ZAR turn signal switches and not just in the obvious physical differences.

In their effort to address the issues with the earlier turn signal switches, Nissan engineered a turn signal switch that worked well for a while but with use, turned into a switch with completely soft and sloppy action.

Unlike other earlier turn signal switches, there is not really a way to restore the "firm lever action" of a 77-78 280z ZCAR turn signal switch.

It is possible to somewhat restore the firm action on a 77- 78 280z turn signal switch, but nothing compares to a new or little used switch.

This switch is little used and still has the firm action of the lever in both directions.
