A charming Victorian gypsy card or side table with turned wooden bobbin legs.
It measures approximately 52cm x 52cm x 62cm high.
The top is rough stained pine wood, a different wood to the legs - it would have been covered in felt or baize for card playing. There are numerous tack marks around the edges and underneath with a few small tacks remaining, I think it had a few replacement coverings in its time!
Please note that the top is noticably warped, not flat - pic no 3 shows this best. You might like to replace the top or keep as is for the character!
There is a pin hammered to the underside of one foot, presumably to correct a wobble. There is one old worm hole on one of the legs, pictured.
Other than these flaws, the table is in good shape with general patina, wear, marks and scrapes and a few splits. Please take a look at the photos.
