c1929 Imperial Airways Passenger Saloon Silver Wing De Luxe RPPC Croydon Airline

Original Imperial Airways real photo postcard showing the interior passenger saloon of the airline’s Silver Wing Service de Luxe, with upholstered passenger seats, overhead luggage racks and a uniformed steward standing in the aisle. Reverse is printed “Imperial Airways Ltd., Croydon Aerodrome” and “The British Air Service To and From the Continent,” with card number IA/C/59. This exact IA/C/59 series is documented with an example bearing a passenger message dated August 5, 1929, establishing that the card was in circulation by 1929. The Silver Wing service was introduced on the London-Paris route in 1927. Nice unposted RPPC.  Item has some age toning and very minor edge/corner wear.  Good condition!
