The textured ribbing catches the light beautifully from every angle. Both earrings and the original butterfly friction backs are clearly hallmarked “10K” and “IRSCO”, confirming solid gold content and Canadian maker.

A bit of history:
IRSCO stands for Imperial Smelting & Refining Co. of Canada Ltd., a historic Canadian precious metals company established in 1914 and based in Markham, Ontario. For over a century it has been a major supplier of gold and other precious metals to the Canadian jewellery industry. The company later became part of Umicore Precious Metals Canada. Finding jewellery stamped IRSCO is a nice piece of Canadian jewellery heritage.
