ITEM: RARE Original WWI Photo of AEF 60" DISHPAN ANTI-AIRCRAFT SEARCHLIGHT in operation on Airdrome (Airfield) AT NIGHT, France, 1918. Original WWI photos of this kind of equipment are hard to find. See all scans.

Photo came from an AEF soldier of the 56th Engineers (Searchlight) Regiment in France, 1918. Before and after the war he lived in Alaska and was active with his dog sled at places like Spencer Glacier and Deadborse.
