Here's a rare and fabulous antique metallic braided thick rope tie back having long fancy antique darkened gold metallic bullion tassels. Would work great on a heavier type of fabric, to center tie or side tie a drapery panel at window or an interior wall opening, etc. Coloring is a darkened bronze like gold coloring, the tassel fringe glistens with a somewhat brighter palette.
Measures approx. 97" overall, tassels 10" long x 1-1/2" wide at top part, rope approx. 1/2" thick. Has been in clean storage for many, many decades.
Beautiful pre-owned antique condition with some very modest wear at 1 spot -likely where it was removed from a drapery panel and a few top strands on roping were cut, see pic. Couple other spots where there is still some errant thread ends (again where it was attached to a cloth panel) which can be pulled free, see pic. Otherwise gorgeous and no issues I see. Tassels are fabulous. Natural age related patina throughout. Coloring of rope is a bit darker than tassels but all is original and stunning.
