Here is a solid WW lathe tailstock project. May take a little adjustment to fit your lathe but should work on most lathes. Needs a spindle but it I have seen many made with a drill chuck on the business end to be more functional.The locking ring can be copied from pictures online if you even need to lock the spindle.
