Due to bereavement. This once in a lifetime opportunity to own this very rare "RHODESIAN CORPS OF ENGINEERS UNIVERSAL GREENS & CERAMONIAL UNIFORM" has become available for collectors of Military Memorabilia issued to a regular soldier during the 1972 - 1980 Bush War period in what was once Rhodesia.

The uniform is in immaculate condition considering it's age. It is complete except for shoes, socks & underpants & of course his Beret. No stains, blemishes, holes, tares, fading or waring as you can see in the images attached.

Issued to a Sapper in 1974 after two years of training & promoted to the rank of L/Cpl & presented with the GSM Medal. He also completed a Marksman's course & was awarded the Crossed Rifles insignia awarded for his Marksmanship. Also completed a course in Explosives Ordnance covering Mine Warfare & Bomb Disposal skills as shown by the insignia badge on the left sleeve just below the Crossed Rifles badge.

The uniform comes with original Jacket & Collar Lapel Badges, Lanyard, Original Green Tie, Original Green day wear belt, White Ceremonial Plastic Belt with Brass Buckle of that period, White cotton gloves, 1 Brigade Bulawayo shoulder Insignia Left shoulder, Rhodesian Army Insignia Right shoulder, x2 Tartan Green (RHODESIA) shoulder Insignias, all original buttons, Universal Sands Shirt well used but not that bad size 17" collar / 43" chest, has 1 Brigade shoulder badge Left shoulder & Rhodesian Army Insignia right shoulder. Also has original label of manufacturer. Original Greens Trousers size: W36 AR, 33L complete with manufacturers label.
