Petrography: Thespecimen contains a relatively even distribution of metal and silicates withcoarse orthopyroxene grains with margins that are recrystallized and containnumerous merrillite inclusions. The matrix is recrystallized. Composition: Orthopyroxene (Fs26.8Wo3.1;FeO/MnO = 31); plagioclase (An92.9). Classification: Achondrite (mesosiderite); low shock ,minimal weathering. |
