Set/6 VTG Johnson Brothers Richmond White Ironstone 5 3/4” Saucers Made England
Complete or expand your Johnson Brothers Richmond White collection with this beautiful set of six matching saucers. Produced in England from 1988 to 2002, the retired Richmond White pattern is prized for its elegant, embossed basket-weave and scrolling leaf border with a softly scalloped rim. The classic all-white ironstone design complements virtually any table setting and remains a favorite among collectors and those seeking replacement pieces.
Crafted from durable English ironstone, these saucers were designed to accompany Richmond White teacups but are equally useful as bread and butter plates, dessert plates, or serving pieces for small treats. They are dishwasher and microwave safe for everyday convenience.
These saucers coordinate perfectly with the matching Johnson Brothers Richmond White salad plates that I have listed separately.
Approximate Measurements -
- Diameter - 5 3/4 inches
- Height - 1 inch
- Combined Weight: 2 lb. 6.5 oz.
Condition -
Overall, this is a very nice pre-owned set.
- Five saucers are in excellent pre-owned condition, free of chips, cracks, crazing, repairs, and discoloration. They retain a beautiful glossy finish with only minimal signs of gentle use, if any.
- One saucer is free of chips, cracks, repairs, and discoloration but does exhibit age-related glaze crazing within the center cup well (see close-up last photo). The crazing is cosmetic only and does not affect the structural integrity of the saucer.
