I am selling this unique unisex-style artisan sterling silver rainbow fluorite gemstone statement ring by Scottish designer Rhona Hobson.
From my own collection. Purchased from a friend in Scotland. Hardly worn. I absolutely love it but it’s too big for me.
Description ~
A statement-sized handcrafted chunky solid sterling silver ring featuring a huge bezel-set oval shaped rainbow fluorite cabochon gemstone. The prominent mount is beautifully sculptured and has a gleaming hammered finish that gives a striking modernist look. The stone is spectacular featuring distinctive, vibrant purple, green & blue natural bands of colour. This is a large, chunky robust ring crafted from a very solid, bright & shiny sterling silver.
It’s all there in the photos which play a big part in providing description & condition.
Details ~
Condition: In very good condition. The stone rattles in its setting but is going nowhere. Some casting marks to silver from when this piece was handcrafted. There are what appears to be flaws to in the stone which look natural & a scuff to the side ~ see photos.
There are some reflections from the lighting ~ not to be confused with imperfections.

Measurements: Stone - 42 x 16mm Mount - 45 x 18mm with 6mm depth of silver setting. Band width - 6mm at the back, up to 15mm shank width & 2mm thickness in silver.
Hallmarks: No.

Regarding Postage: ~ I only use Royal Mail Tracked to post direct to the buyer’s address as I’m a firm believer in supporting my local post office (& have no drop-off lockers etc locally). ~ I don’t generally post at weekends as my local village Post Office closes early on a Saturday! ~ I do not sell abroad.
~ I photograph in macro to enhance detailing so items appear larger than they actually are – so please check the measurements to avoid disappointment.
~ I carefully wrap purchases to prevent damage in the post using recycled materials.
