This is an original Ford Model A starter drive for the early starters that used the 1/2-inch shaft. (later after October 1928 Ford used a 5/8-inch shaft) It seems to be in good useable condition. I have added a spring that shows some rust pitting. (you decide if you want to use this spring) It has two Ford script 5/16-inch bolts with new lock washers and Ford spring clips to support the drive spring and help keep the bolts from bending. You would need to add the drive key and reinstall the end bolt and bend the remaining locking tab on the washer. Ready to use.
