For your consideration, I am offering an EXTREMELY RARE AND UNIQUE, remarkably well-preserved, authentic antique Montreal uniform helmet plate dating to the Edwardian era (c1904-1914). This heavy, die-struck brass insignIa was originally worn on the front of a traditional home service helmet. This particular piece features the highly desirable, completely intact cutout assignment number 1010 at the base.
All 3 original reverse mounting hardware fixtures are fully intact and structurally sound, featuring a solid top post lug and 2 flanking wire loops.
