The Beatles - White Album 1st UK Mono Press Complete with, die-cut black inner sleeves, photos & poster. The records have the 1G mothers/stampers on sides one, three & four.

This is a nice copy of a great record with a low numbered sleeve

Media (Play Tested): VG (Both Discs, All Sides). Sits completely flat with no warping. Great playing surface on all sides, with some surface noise during the quietest parts but no skips. The spindle holes are clean with evidence of having been played. Has, light non-feelable surface marks across both discs, that whilst not greatly affecting the sound, do prevent a higher grade. Low mothers/stampers, including the magical 1G on sides 1, 3 & 4.

Sleeve: VG Number: 0041530. Very clean with some age discolouration. It has clean flip backs and good corners and sides. Some slight age wear at top loader and a crease to the bottom. The number is clear but faded and the embossed The Beatles has some laminate lift and foxing. A couple of small marks across both sides and the interior from wear and storage. Unfortunately it has some pin marks (??) at three corners. Real shame but doesn’t greatly spoil the look of the sleeve. The spine is creased and has some laminate lift but ‘The Beatles’ and the Mono and Stereo catalogue numbers are fully readable. Has a low number.

Inner Sleeve/Poster/Photos: VG/BG+/VG+: All original black inner sleeve are in nice condition though the records have been stored in anti-static sleeves. The poster is has age related discolouration & weakening at the creases. The photos are nice and have no evidence of having been hung but do have creases.

What can I say about this pressing, that you haven’t already read? I will just say that this is a great complete package and who amongst us doesn’t want to own a five figure UK Mono White Album?
