The Lion Special was designed for players who want a Lion guitar, but with a little different sound than a standard T-style. The Lion Special offers a pair of Lollar P-90s or Imperial humbuckers, and a Gotoh hardtail or Graph Tech ResoMax wraptail bridge-all wrapped in your choice of classic nitro finishes.

 

How Does It Play

Shabat has the broken-in aesthetic down to a T. The neck feels like it has been played for years. This one also features the wider nut option and jumbo 6100 frets, which are totally up my alley. The Chunky ‘59 carve is beefy, but with nicely rounded shoulders for extra comfort. The string action sits at 4/64” across all strings, measured at the 12^th fret.
