The drum is in good functional condition and sounds great. At some point, a previous owner appears to have overtightened the original tom mounting hardware, resulting in stress cracks around one of the mounting holes (see photos). This is a known weak point of this mounting design, as the factory tom mount attaches to a lug bolt, placing additional leverage on the shell.

To improve stability, the bent lug has been replaced with a straight original lug, and larger internal washers have been installed to distribute the load more evenly. The batter head has also been moved to the opposite side so the repaired area is under less playing stress. The drum remains structurally solid and tunes up and sounds excellent.

For long-term use, I recommend using an alternative suspension mounting system such as RIMS or StarCast instead of the original mount, as these systems support the drum from higher mounting points and significantly reduce stress on the shell.

This is a used item and may show cosmetic wear such as scratches, marks, or other signs of normal use.
