 Up for sale is a Vintage “Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction” Pulp Magazine! This is the rare March 1957 issue, Volume 12 Number 3. This issue features Survival Technique by Poul Anderson and Kenneth Gray, Useful Knowledge by Leonard Wolf, The Proper Spirit by Robert Bloch, Up by Charles L. Fontenay, Dawn Invader by Robert Sheckley, The Canvas Pyramid by Jane Roberts, The Splendid Source by Richard Matheson, Added Inducement by Robert F. Young, Visit to a Small Planet by Gore Vidal, and Last by Fritz Leiber. Most are the original first printings of these classic science fiction stories in any publication. It is a 128-page pulp magazine published by Fantasy House and measures about 7⅝” x 5½”. The magazine features a wonderful painted cover by pulp artist Kelly Freas and illustrations by Norman Thelwell inside. As shown in the photos, the magazine is in very good condition with a little cover wear and soiling, including a “C” on its front and some dust shadowing. The paper is intact along the magazine’s spine, and the magazine is complete and remains well bound. Its interior pages are clean with a tiny edge dent and no writing, creases, rips, or tears. This rare vintage Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction would make a great addition to your collection!
