Rare find! Vintage two-piece interlocking Thunderbird belt buckle. The two 1.75 inch textured gold-tone circular medallions hook together to form the buckle closure. Features iconic Thunderbird logo for the prestigious Thunderbird Country Club established in 1952 in Rancho Mirage, California.

This is a classic two-piece "hook and eye" interlocking sash/strap buckle.

Rather than a single large plate, each circular piece attaches to one side of a fabric or leather belt strap and clips together securely in the center.

Excellent vintage condition- bright gold, with only minor marks in the plating wear the metal sides of the belt have rubbed together. Difficult to see unless looking at it from certain angles. (See enlarged photos).

Approximately measures 1.75”Hx3.5”W attached. Attaches securely. Appears to fit belts straps just under 1.5” wide.
