Haunted Doll Amelia 1850 Gold Rush Girl Emotional Support Ghost Seeks Parent.

This ghost came to me as beckoned through my inter-dimensional mirror portal.

Amelia was an adorable little brown hair and brown eyed girl who lived in Colorado in 1850 after coming to the area by wagon train with her family. Led by her Father and Grandfather, they were in search of gold. They endured many hardships on the way, including the loss of their Grandmother.

A year or so after arrival, my mirror scry found Amelia at age 10, playing with her siblings in front of the cabin built by her Father, Grandfather and older brothers. They had moderate success in finding gold. Being smart, they left many others to remain in their greed, and moved away from the gold rush. They used their windfall to set up a homestead and farm, West of the Rockies. They were an honest, hardworking and God-fearing family who wanted only happiness and success for their still relatively new homestead.

While the men were hard at work, establishing and maintaining the farm, Amelia was in her own little 10 year old world, focused on being a pioneer "woman". She adored her Mother,  she loved her more than anyone or anything else. Her Mother felt the same, Amelia was her moon and stars. Stuck by her side, Amelia learned to read and write. She learned about cooking, sewing and cleaning.  Most recently, she was learning about expectant Mothers, as her own was nine months pregnant and preparing for the arrival of an infant.

Amelia was so excited about the new baby coming. She prayed every night for a sister as she was the only girl, and the youngest of 4 children. The night the baby came, she sat on her oldest brother's lap, buried her face in her hands and cried, unable to bear her beloved Mother's screams of pain.

Then in this remote prairie cabin, with a sheet hung for privacy, Amelia slept, still cradled by her brother, in a wooden rocking chair. They both startled awake to an entirely different scream, a high pitched, angry infant scream. They rushed past the sheet in excitement as there, at dawn, came her baby sister, who was named for the time of her arrival.

Amelia loved April Dawn and helped her Mother while she recuperated from child birth. She happily ran here and there, gathering items and doing what she could. These were the best of times.

It seemed like the family had everything they could ask for, a nice home, some gold, hidden for safe-keeping, a happy, healthy and growing family, good crops, and plentiful hunting in the surrounding woods. For a moment, life was perfect. Then as the Summer passed them by, it all  changed, in a moment.

That fateful day, Autumn was upon them and the whole family was working the fall harvest field together, prepping for Winter and next Spring. Mother had baby April tied in a sling to her body and was cutting down corn husks. The others were gathering and bundling, they were talking and joking while they worked. Dinner, a venison stew, was bubbling over the fire. The sun was low in the sky, and they were about to call it a day.

Suddenly, out of nowhere a strange blood curdling yell bellowed, breaking through the early evening quiet.

"Kayayayayayaya!!" Amelia's heart sank as four sinister looking Native American warriors rode onto the property in war paint calling to one another in a foreign tongue.

The family looked one to another in terror, frozen in place in the field for what felt like an eternity, the sun setting quickly. Suddenly cognizant, the initial shock wearing off, Father and Grandfather snapped into action and ran inside to grab rifles.

As they ran from the cabin's front door, guns held high, towards the horses, Amelia's eldest brother took an arrow to his chest, and fell hard to the ground. Amelia screamed and simultaneously, a mowhawked warrior, on a black horse, rode up beside her and swooped her up by her long dark hair which was pulled in a high ponytail bun. Using the tsiiyéél like a handle, he effortlessly lifted the screaming Amelia onto his agitated horse, placing her in front of him. They rode off, both bullets and a Mother's wail, sounding behind them.

Amelia was caught up in a situation that had nothing to do with her. She was meant to be a replacement for a young girl stolen from the tribe by some very evil white men, these trappers did terrible things to the young girl, leaving her body in a sacrilegious manner, in the woods.

These warriors were set on a mission of revenge for their tribe and they sought reparations. To them, blinded by rage, all white men looked the same. They were not intending to harm her, just to take her as a replacement. But Amelia didn't know that.

In fact, Amelia was terrified and cried as they rode over rocky and treacherous terrain. Impulsive and desperate to return to her Mother, she carelessly leapt from the horse and missed the rock ledge. Knowing a moment too late that it was a deadly mistake, precious, tiny Amelia tumbled over the edge and fell several hundred feet onto the rough rock gully below. Blessedly her spirit left her body before she made impact.

Amelia haunted this area of rough valley for hundreds of years until my portal opened to her. At that time, she came through, honestly still hoping to find her Mother. She possessed this lovely porcelain doll who is a resemblance to Amelia in life. Disappointed, her first few days here were rough.

Amelia has not come in contact with many living people since her passing and definitely not any who could communicate with her. She had a lot of catching up today and is finally coming to terms with her situation. She is hopeful to crossover someday and see her family again, but for now she wants to make up for lost time.

Amelia is smart and curious. She is in awe and disbelief of the world she sees here, in this day and time.  She loves television and watched the new Little House on the Prairie with me, she pointed out things she found inaccurate. She laughed a lot, but said it made her a little homesick. She has been watching Disney channel type preteen shows now, as well. I hear her laughing a lot. She is friendly with other ghosts, except a witch that frightens her. I moved the witch to another room.

Amelia is communicative via pendulum, dowsing rods, and spirit boards and boxes. She is very social and likes to be part of the family. She would love a family who maybe has some children or teens or younger ghosts. She enjoys a Mother figure too though. I am desperately trying to keep her from attaching to me, reminding her that someone special is needing her.

Amelia is a positive entity, she is a companion ghost. She is an emotional support doll and needs someone to depend on. She is kind and patient and never has a negative word for anyone, even the witch she dislikes, she called her "spooky",  then apologized. I leave her a lollipop or peppermint candy on occasion. She likes to be placed on a blanket of any kind.

Some people have told me they get a strong sense of homesickness when holding her, also they have reported feeling headaches and other pains. She was heard crying the first few nights but that has since passed, for the most part.

Amelia is a lonely little girl who was used to being part of a very close knit family. I am so hopeful that she finds a safe and loving home.

Amelia is a cute gold rush girl ghost who inhabits a porcelain doll dressed from her time period. She would make a great addition to any haunted doll collection especially for those who like child ghosts, wild west culture and those who can offer parental love.

All dolls come as is. Reminder I never groom any doll as this is a sacred bonding ritual that I save for the keeper. As always photo props and background items not included.
