This is a fantastic 1:72 scale Academy Mini Aircraft American WWI Spad XIII that has been painted in camouflage and has decals affixed from the original kit.  The original instructions come with this WWI bi-plane.  It has American markings that one of the fighter groups in France used:  Native American Head & Swastika are on both sides of the fuselage.  Before Nazi times, the swastika was used by the Navajo to represent a hero's journey, spiritual wisdom and prosperity.  It was known as the whirling log.

This was a French built SPAD XIII and was one of the most famous fighters of WWI.  The SPAD was one of the first to use the more powerful and efficient liquid-cooled inline engine.  The SPAD was so effective that several Allied countries used it during the War.  It was armed with one or two Vickers 7.65 mm machine guns firing through the propeller arc.

Great for military, WWI or aircraft enthusiasts.  Comes with landing gear affixed for perfect shelf or desktop display.

Comes bubble wrapped and shipped in a box with air cushioning from a smoke free home via USPS Ground Advantage with tracking.
