Original 1981 The Clash Sandinista Huge Promo Poster 48x34 CBS Epic RARE Punk

Up for sale is a remarkably rare, 100% authentic original 1981 promotional record store/subway poster for The Clash's iconic "Sandinista!" album release. 

This is the massive, highly coveted 48 x 34-inch oversized version issued directly by Epic/CBS Records for store displays—NOT a modern reproduction, digital print, or the smaller 33x22 vinyl insert poster. Original large-format copies of this poster are incredibly scarce, with none others currently listed online.

Features the official vintage margin text printed along the edge:

**Condition Report (Please Review Photos Carefully):**

This poster is in Fair to Good vintage condition. It has spent the last 40+ years handled and displayed, giving it an authentic punk rock patina. The colors remain incredibly bright, deep, and un-faded. 

Defects to note before purchasing:

• Bottom-Left Corner: There is a significant section of paper loss where a large chunk of the corner is missing (see close-up photo).

• Top Margin & Corners: Features multiple edge tears, creases, and minor paper fraying along the top black border.

• Back Side Residue: There are hardened remnants of original 1980s blue mounting putty/adhesive on the back corners (see back photo). This has been left completely untreated to prevent any damage to the paper fibers.

This is an absolute grail piece for a Clash collector and is an excellent candidate for professional framing or linen-backing restoration.
