This is an amazing card! It shows the newspaper comic artist R.F. Outcault on a donkey, with his comic character Buster Brown at his side. The card was produced for his visit to Egypt, where he took his brass era motor car with him! It is also an advertising card for that brand automobile. The card front is printed and reads Greetings From Egypt, Sincerely Yours R.F. Outcault, We Have Our Lozier Motor Car With Us Too.
The Lozier Motor Company was a brass era producer of luxury automobiles in the US. The company produced automobiles from 1900 to 1918, beginning in Plattsburgh NY and from 1910 in Detroit.
The card back has two really nice stamps, one of the pyramids and the second advertising the Shepheard's Hotel in Cairo Egypt!
The card back is divided and is not postmarked. Condition is very good to excellent as shown. Guaranteed vintage and original. The watermark is not on the postcard you are buying here.
