Burmese Orange Garnet & White Cultured Pearl Earrings.

These earrings were designed using tiny 4mm round cultured seed pearls, 4mm faceted orange Garnet gemstones, 11/0 Miyuki galvanised gold seed beads, and gold-plated 925 sterling silver shepherd hooks.

Garnet, traditionally the birthstone for January, is technically a group of gemstones that have different forms and colours.  Garnet has been used as a gemstone for over 5000 years.  It has been found in the jewellery of many Egyptian burials and was one of the most popular gemstones of Ancient Rome. 

The gemstones I use are ethically sourced and hand-cut, so there may be slight differences in colour, size and inclusions within each stone. 

Each item is lovingly gift-wrapped in a burlap gift bag, making it a beautiful and unique gift.

The packaging is recyclable and eco-friendly.
