We have an Old Used Tungsram Military E88CC Double Triode (Nov. 1979) - 02.

This label can be read on the side of the tube : ”HM”.

The Factory Date Codes are the following : N4 = Nov. 1979.

Settings of the "digitised" instrument :

 - Anode voltage : 90.00 Volt.

I measured the anode current.
Results of measurements :

Triode 1 : 11,30 mA ; 75 %
Triode 2 : 11,60 mA ; 77 %

I measured the "S" parameter.
Results of measurements :

Triode 2 : 13,0 mA / Volt.

On the tube can be seen a title:”HM”,
that is Hungarian abrev. of  „Honvédelmi Minisztérium”.
In English: Ministry of Defence, (or DoD.)

Military tubes absolutely have been selected for army.
These tubes were assorted by strictest requirements and test results.
Then were labeled by military sign/code stamp.
Tests were always made in an assistance of an army assign.
They are very rare tubes, and we can correctly say only
our depot contains so devices( several tens in items).
Each of military tubes had been burned for 200 hours.

I see that in the listings for electron tubes here, everyone likes to use the Tungsram brand name.
Original Tungsram electron tubes are very easy to identify.
Inside most (90–95%) Tungsram electron tubes, you can see a small (4x4 mm)
aluminum plate, which is usually attached to the getter holder.
A one- or two-digit number is visible on the small aluminum plate.
This is the ORIGINAL Tungsram electron tube !!!!!!!!!!!!
