Tacca leontopetaloides "Hawaiian Form"
4cm wide Dormant Tuber
Offered is a tuber of this rare and beautiful Tacca species.
The tuber produces a graceful, umbrella-shaped leaf growing to about 1.2m high. The leaf remains above ground through spring and into Autumn when it dies back to the tuber. The leaf will re-emerge in the following Spring.
If the tuber is large enough, it will produce the amazing bloom pictured.
It is overall green in colour and features long whisker-like appendages. A wonderful feature plant for a pot or in the garden in tropical or sub-tropical areas!
