Flying Officer W.D. David, No.87 Squadron at Church Fenton and Exeter until 15th October 1940.
Awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross on the 31st May 1940 and Bat to DFC on 4th June 1940.
Flight Lieutenant, 'B' Flight Commander of No.213 Squadron, at Tangmere, October 16th until the
13th November 1940. Then with No.152 Squadron at Warmwell as Flight Commander
