Unused. Cups have been out of the box a few times and the white one has a few dinks but this does not affect use in any way. You will need 3 x AAA batteries. White cup can be decorated to your own taste, or the other two supplied can be used. Or you can pop the lid on your own coffee cups to recycled them and change the look. LED lights have a long life span and are more eco-friendly. Please have a look at the photos.
