🔧 Vintage Construction Toys • Sears Giant Crane • 1970s Tomy Japan 🔧
Wonderfully preserved, vintage Sears Giant Crane battery-operated toy (Item No. 79-58222) from the early 1970s. Manufactured by Tomy in Japan exclusively for the iconic Sears "Big Toy Box" line. Thoroughly inspected, tested, and ready for display or play!
Operational Status: TESTED AND WORKING FINE! The internal motors and gears engage properly. The multi-button wired remote control successfully commands the crane's automated movements. Completeness: 100% complete with all unique pieces included. It comes with the main blue lattice mast, the orange motor cab housing, the blue horizontal boom, the tension rods, the rare yellow "Danger" hazard sign, the black "100t" weighted block, and the yellow clamshell digging claw/bucket. The Modular Buildings: Includes all building segments with original illustrated cardboard wrap-around window inserts. The graphics are bright, flat, and free of heavy crushing. Original Box: Included with beautiful vintage graphics but typical signs of age (old vintage tape residue on cover flap, one corner split/frayed). Instruction Manual: Original booklet included (with famous factory typo "Hock and Basket"). Manual has historic burn/stain damage near the center creating a hole, but operational text remains entirely readable. I have fixed a string that was detached from the spring.
We ship fast and securely. Item will be carefully packaged. Shipping prices are clearly displayed at checkout on eBay. All duties and customs fees for US customers are prepaid by us.
