Scarce Vintage HMCS Saskatchewan (DDE 262) RCN Ceramic Ashtray. 1960s
A scarce, genuine
vintage porcelain ashtray made as a souvenir of the Royal Canadian Navy Mackenzie-class
destroyer, HMCS Saskatchewan. Manufactured by Salisbury Crown China Co., Staffordshire,
England and likely dating from the 1960s.
Width: 117.5mm
(4.62 inches).
Very good condition.
HMCS
Saskatchewan was a Mackenzie-class destroyer that served in the Royal Canadian
Navy (RCN), entering service in 1963. She was
decommissioned in 1994 and sold for use as an artificial reef. She was sunk as
such in June 1997 off British Columbia.
